If we cannot acquit ourselves, then we shall submit to the damages that justice demands at our hands. And I now <u>protest</u> against any of the monies due upon that contract being paid to Joseph Sinclair for any services as Removing Agent, <u>after</u> his return to Fort Wayne in December last from the removal of the Miamies.
