I have paid George Hunt the interpreter his salary for the 3rd qr of the year, and have change for contingencies beyond the amount in my hands for that purpose.
If it will be in accordance with the practices of the Department to permit it, I should be pleased to visit Washington for the purpose of closing up my accounts at once.
