I have had the honor to recieve your letter of the 7th in relation to the emigration of the Miamis and have called upon the chiefs head men of the tribe to meet me in council at the forks of the Wabash on Saturday of this week. When I shall urge upon them a compliance with the treaty stipulations with the Government.
