Sir,
I have the honour to enclose herewith Lists of the families of Richardville, Godfroy, Me shin go me zia & Slocum.
In the list of the family of Me-shin-go-me-zia you will find some adopted members--at the earnest request of the chief I placed them in the list, leaving it of course with the Department to direct what should be done with them.
In the list of the Slocum family you will find five names not included in the joint Resolution; I am [advised?] by the person that I employed to make the list of that family that they are members of it--the others are perfect.
I have not yet been able to make a complete list of that portion of the tribe who are to remove, I shall complete it the first opportunity, the contractor is now about collecting the Indians and when they are assembled I hope to be able to complete the contract.
Allow me to call your attention
