Jos. Sinclear Esq Miami Sub Agenty
Dr. Sir I am gratified to know that there is every prospect of my being able to have a peaceable & satisfactory removal of the Miami Indians this season and with a view further to [illeg] and accelerate this desirable object, as well as to relieve myself from some personal attention, I have transfered to Major Edsall & Alexi Coquillard two thirds of my contract, The other one third I had previously transfered to W.G. & G.W. Ewing. These men are all known as energetic & efficient responsible and influential [illeg] it affords me pleasure now to say that I have no doubt of the complete success of the Emigration with as little delay as can be expected.
I hope therefore that you will be satisfied with their [illeg] arrangements & I desire to say further that we will be all [illeg]tting in our Exertion to accomplish this removal in such manner as will meet the approbation of the Department & yourself. Hoping you will be pleased to keep the Hon Commr of Indian Affairs duly advised of all I am doeing as the removal contractor.
