Sir,

I have the honor to report to you that a band of Miami Indians, in number about 325, left this place, last evening on board the steam Boat "Clermont," for Kanzas Landing, on their way to their new homes. They are accompanied by their sub agent Mr. Ct. Clair, & the contractors for their transportation.
