Ecnloses letter of Francis Lafontaine chief Miamies, to him, requesting he would ask the President to permit his relations to remain with him, & not emigrate West--also to authorize him (Mr. L) to purchase a part of the government reserve belonging to individuals of his tribe, if they wish to dispose of them.
