Sir I understand that a small
 +
portion of the miamie tribe of Indians
 +
will move south of the Missourie
 +
River shortly and as I expected
 +
that it would be necessary to furnish
 +
said Indians with rations for twelve
 +
months, I should like to get the contract. Should I not be able to get the contract
 +
I should like to get a situation in
 +
the removal of them or act as
 +
commissary to see that the Have the
 +
full benefit of their rations, will
 +
you confer a favour ^on me^ by taking this
 +
matter into consideration I wish to
 +
leave on tomorrow, and will accordingly
 +
call and pay my Respects to you previous to my departure.
