The navy[?] fim x meting, for some time to [illegible] a charge[?] for the amount due in on the assignees and attorneys of Coquillard and Edriall of Emming for the  remand for the Miami Indians, west of the Mississippi. For recognition has met already, [illegible], is our favor, with you do us this favor to have an issue with that [illegible] may be [illegible] to my favor the [illegible] and this shall be your [illegible] and vouches for so doing.

We have been expecting, for some time to receive a Draft for the amount due us as the assignees and attorneys of Mssrs Coquillard and Edsall  & Ewing for the  removal of the Miami Indians, west of the Mississippi. If a [requisition?] has not already been issued, in our favor, to have one issued, so that a Draft may be forwarded to us from the proper department and this shall be your [illegible]and voucher for so doing.
